Your Mission as a Mechanical Specialist / Technician

As a Mechanical Specialist / Technician, your primary mission is to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment at our production facilities. Your expertise in troubleshooting, executing maintenance plans, and adhering to safety protocols will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of critical assets.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Mechanical Specialist / Technician

• Execute maintenance tasks for surface production equipment, pipelines, valve assemblies, pumps, and compressors.
• Raise daily PTWs (Permits to Work) as per PMRs/CMRs/JCFs or team lead directions.
• Review and close PMRs/CMRs in CMMS/MAXIMO, ensuring critical asset downtime is minimized.
• Conduct daily condition monitoring for 50% of operational machinery and document reports.
• Inspect for leaks, abnormal noises, and maintain detailed records for review by the team lead.
• Manage and audit mechanical workshop tools and consumables, ensuring readiness and compliance.
• Perform annual inventory checks, comparing SAP inventory with physical stock.
• Monitor the condition and preservation of rotary equipment stored in warehouses.
• Regularly inspect lifting gear, safety harnesses, forklifts, and hand tools.
• Maintain HSE compliance and QUEST reporting for incident-free operations.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Mechanical Specialist / Technician

• Proficiency in rotary and static equipment, including multistage pumps, overhung pumps, and generators.
• Must have hands-on experience pertinent to multistage Pump, Overhung Pump, Submersible/Well Turbine Pumps, Chemical Dozing Pumps, Pneumatic Pumps and Diesel Generator.
• Basic knowledge of CMMS/MAXIMO and piping isometrics.
• Experience with Belzona Coating Products and online leak repairs for pipelines and storage tanks.
• Proficient in ultrasonic thickness monitoring and associated tools.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physical capability to work at heights and on scaffolds.
• Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with PTW and LOTO systems.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems.
• Willingness to work night shifts and report directly to line supervisors.

• Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6x3).
