Your Mission as a Lead Instrumentation Construction Supervisor
As the Lead Instrumentation Construction Supervisor, your mission is to ensure the seamless execution of instrumentation construction activities. You will lead, coordinate, and manage teams, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety protocols, and quality standards. Your technical expertise and leadership will drive project success, minimize risks, and ensure all deliverables are met efficiently and effectively.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as Lead Instrumentation Construction Supervisor
- Oversee and manage the entire instrumentation construction process, including coordinating workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Enforce safety regulations, building codes, and conduct regular site inspections to mitigate hazards.
- Manage conflicts among teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth project progression.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project progress, costs, and quality measures.
- Identify and resolve construction issues, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.
- Approve and manage Permits to Work, Isolation Requests, and LOTO procedures, ensuring all site operators are briefed on hazards and controls.
- Collaborate with clients, site managers, and project engineers, providing technical solutions and addressing project concerns.
- Participate in daily project meetings, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting of activities.
- Supervise instrumentation erection activities, assist with commissioning phases, and manage as-built documentation.
- Ensure availability of materials on site, addressing potential supply chain issues proactively.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as Lead Instrumentation Construction Supervisor
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or related field.
- Good years of industry experience, including years of experience in construction and EPCC projects.
- Proven experience as a Lead Instrumentation Supervisor with a strong understanding of state and safety codes.
- Expertise in project management, design, construction, procurement, costing, equipment fabrication, commissioning, and safety.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to inspire and lead a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting design drawings and ensuring accurate installations.
- Basic knowledge of other disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
