Your Mission as a Mechanical Technician

As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring seamless operations. Your expertise in handling rotating and static equipment will contribute to reducing downtime and optimizing machinery performance in field operations.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Mechanical Technician:

•  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, compressors, turbines, and valves.
• Conduct routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure minimal downtime.
• Assist in the installation, alignment, and calibration of mechanical systems.
• Strictly adhere to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations for a safe workplace.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report findings to supervisors.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Mechanical Technician:

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field.
• 2 to 7 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in oil & gas.
•  Proficiency in working with rotating and static equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting skills with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
