Your Mission as a Camp Manager

As a Camp manager , your mission is to oversee the seamless operation of both the rig site and main camp, ensuring that accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance services run efficiently. You will be responsible for supervising service providers, enforcing company standards, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for personnel.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Camp Manager

• Supervise and monitor the catering company’s performance, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Oversee daily camp operations, including accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and facility maintenance.
• Track and report People on Board (POB), maintaining accurate headcount records.
• Conduct regular inspections of food services, hygiene, and camp infrastructure.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and enforce safety protocols.
• Address and resolve any complaints or concerns from personnel regarding camp services.
• Manage contractor performance, ensuring compliance with operational and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate visitor arrangements and maintain strict procedures for camp entry and accommodations.
• Work closely with Drilling & Operations Managers to meet logistical and personnel needs.
• Supervise inventory and supply management to ensure camp essentials are available at all times.
• Maintain order and discipline in the camp, fostering a safe and comfortable environment.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Camp Manager

  Experience & Background:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Camp manager, Location Manager, or Site Supervisor in the oil & gas sector (preferably in drilling operations).
• Strong knowledge of rig site operations and remote camp management.

 Education & Industry Requirements:

• Open to all educational backgrounds (a degree in Hospitality or related fields is a plus).

 Language & Communication:

• Proficiency in Arabic and English.

 Key Skills:

• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
• Organized, professional, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in remote locations.

Additional Information

• Working Days & Hours: Rig Site: 12-hour shifts / Office: 8-hour shifts
• Location: Rig Site & Benghazi Office
