Your Mission as a Plant Operator
As a Plant Operator, your core mission is to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations within the processing facility. You will be instrumental in maintaining facility integrity, maximizing production uptime, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs in line with contractual obligations. You will uphold the highest safety and environmental standards and play a critical role in emergency response and operational continuity.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Plant Operator
- Maintain strict adherence to PSAIM standards and all facility-specific procedures.

Monitor and optimize production parameters including flow, pressure, temperature, and chemical quality.

Prepare and maintain daily operation and production reports and logs.

Execute Permit to Work procedures and maintain a clean, organized facility.

Handle plant shutdowns, emergency response plans (ERP), and participate in ERP drills.

Manage safety system bypasses, SIS/FGS forces, and maintain accurate isolation logs.

Ensure operations remain within Integrity Operating Windows and manage inventory compliance.

Uphold and update SOPs, checklists, work instructions, and participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes.

Perform continuous risk assessments and adapt procedures for new equipment or processes.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Plant Operator
- Minimum 7 years of production/maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in plant operations.
- Proficiency in monitoring, operating, and controlling plant equipment such as oil/gas systems, steam generators, and hot oil systems.
- Strong technical and functional knowledge of production facilities and operational safety.
- Skilled in Permit to Work management, emergency response, and control room operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in gas/oil/water processing facilities of similar complexity.
- Familiarity with systems such as ePTW, CMMS, ERP, and production reporting tools.

- Location: South of Sirt/ Zintan - Libya.
