Your Mission as a Sales Account Manager
Your mission is to drive business growth by building strong client relationships and identifying strategic sales opportunities. As the primary point of contact for clients, you’ll ensure satisfaction while surpassing revenue targets. In addition, you will oversee operations at the Benghazi City Branch, managing staff and optimizing performance to achieve branch objectives.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Sales Account Manager
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships (e.g., companies, banks).
- Serve as the main liaison for clients, resolving issues and responding to inquiries.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets.
- Promote new products and services to expand client portfolios.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to uncover new opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Collaborate with internal teams: marketing, product development, and support.
- Track sales performance and prepare detailed forecasts.
- Assist in onboarding clients and training them on services.
- Coordinate staffing and HR matters with the head office.
- Oversee employee training programs.
- Lead brand development and office identity initiatives.
- Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Supervise engineering and maintenance teams.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Sales Account Manager
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Communications/Networks), Computer Science, or an MBA with relevant telecom certifications.
- Expertise in sales methodologies such as consultative and solution selling.
- Proven experience in client account management and strategic sales planning.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and KPIs.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong computer skills; capable of creating professional proposals and presentations.
- MBA or business management coursework (preferred).
- Familiarity with telecom, IT, or ISP products (preferred).
- Sales experience with vendors like Cisco (preferred).
- Background in marketing and sales leadership (is a plus).
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
Additional Information
- Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Location: Benghazi - Libya.
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
