Your Mission as a Maintenance Supervisor

As a Maintenance Supervisor (Civil), you will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of essential infrastructure. You will supervise maintenance crews, manage resources, and ensure the safety and quality of road, bridge, and related infrastructure maintenance activities. Your expertise and leadership will ensure that these vital structures remain in optimal condition, minimizing downtime and ensuring public safety.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Supervisor

• Conduct thorough inspections of roads, bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other infrastructure to identify issues and determine necessary maintenance.

• Plan and schedule maintenance projects, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.

• Supervise maintenance crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards and proper work practices.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure resources, materials, and equipment are available for maintenance tasks.

• Prepare detailed reports on activities, material usage, equipment, and work progress for superiors and other stakeholders.

• Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, tools, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and project success.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Maintenance Supervisor

• Minimum age: 25 years.

• Educational background: Intermediate education plus a 3-year DAE in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil maintenance, with hands-on experience in infrastructure projects such as roads and bridges.

• Strong technical knowledge of civil maintenance practices and infrastructure systems.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.

• Basic conversational English skills required for communication with supervisors and team members.
