About the Hiring Company:
Space Technology Solutions (STS) is a technology solutions provider based in Tripoli, Libya, focused on supporting the Libyan market with modern IT products, services, and infrastructure solutions. The company provides services such as digital archiving and works with clients across different sectors, including public and private organizations.
Your Mission as an Accountant:
As an Accountant, your mission will be to support the company’s financial accuracy, daily accounting operations, and reporting processes. You will help ensure that financial records are organized, transactions are properly documented, and management has reliable financial information for decision-making.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Accountant:
Record daily financial transactions accurately and on time.
Prepare and maintain accounting records, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and summaries.
Track expenses and ensure proper documentation of company spending.
Support payroll, petty cash, and internal financial procedures when needed.
Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant local requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments to collect financial documents and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain organized and confidential financial files.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Accountant:
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or a similar finance role.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial documentation.
Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential financial information professionally.
Good communication skills and ability to work with different teams.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Experience in a technology or services company is a plus.
Additional Information
Working Days & Hours: Saturday to Thursday (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
