Your Mission as a QAQC / Inspection Coordinator

As the QAQC / Inspection Coordinator / Fabrication QC Coordinator, your primary mission is to ensure the highest quality standards are met during the execution phase of our projects. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering quality deliverables on time, ensuring compliance with the Project Quality Plan, and supporting the Project Execution Team in delivering within the defined cost, time, and quality parameters. Your role will be pivotal in identifying and reporting issues from suppliers and third-party inspection agencies to maintain the hiring company's reputation for excellence.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as QAQC / Inspection Coordinator

• Quality-Procurement Interfacing:
  • Review Technical Requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluations to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined in Supplier RFQs.
  • Prepare project-specific Inspection Test Plans (ITP) referencing the Project Quality Plan, Contract, and Project Execution Plan.
• Supplier Quality Management:

• Participate in Kickoff Meetings and plan/execute Critical Supplier Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM).
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely review of documents such as General Arrangements, Datasheets, and Quality documentation.
• Manage inspection notifications, ensuring the latest documents are available with suppliers during inspections.

• Validation / Approval:
  • Conduct independent surveillance of suppliers and third-party inspections (TPIs) to ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and requirements.
  • Verify and manage supplier documents certifying tests, controls, and inspections, ensuring conformity with the ITP.
• Auditing:
  • Perform periodic surveillance of inspection activities at assigned fabrication suppliers/contractors.
  • Maintain and follow up on the Project NCR register, organizing third-party and internal inspections as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Project Team and Quality Managers to provide input on quality issues and contribute to quality audits.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as QAQC / Inspection Coordinator

• Experience:
  • Extensive experience in Quality activities within the Engineering industry, EPCC, or Oil & Gas Industry, particularly in QA/QC supervisory roles.
  • Experience coordinating with multi-discipline project support teams, especially on projects involving oil and gas.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (preferably Mechanical).
  • Proficiency in interpreting ASME Sec VIII, Sec IX, Sec V, AWS D1.1.
  • ASNT SNTC Level II Certification and ISO 9001 Auditing experience.
• Knowledge of Processes:
  • Familiarity with project execution phases, including PQP, ITP, FAT, Data Books, RCA for Project NCRs, and Project Audits.
  • Understanding of quality compliance philosophies, audit procedures, and non-conforming product control and CAPA.
