Your Mission as an Instrument procurement specialist / Spare Parts Engineer

As an Instrument procurement specialist, your primary mission is to ensure the creation and management of comprehensive Spare Parts and Interchangeability Records (SPIRs) for proprietary and sub-contract items related to main equipment projects. You will be integral in supporting projects from inception to delivery, providing essential parts documentation, and enhancing customer satisfaction by facilitating seamless project execution.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Instrument procurement specialist / Spare Parts Engineer

• Collect and review all sub-contract and proprietary recommendations along with their costs for spare parts.
• Prepare and verify pricing for spare parts, adhering to company policies and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate with capital projects and purchasing teams to transition customer contacts and supplier information to the Aftermarket division.
• Expedite sub-contractors to obtain require SPIR (spare parts interchangeability records) documentation.
• Collaborate with Service Engineers to compile complete SPIR submissions.
• Ensure the timely delivery of SPIR documents to clients.
• Monitor and advance SPIR progress with customers and end-users while working in tandem with the Field Sales Team.
• Partner with team members to develop a shared resource repository that includes templates for process technology-specific SPIRs, enhancing future SPIR creation efficiency.
• Assist in developing proposals that include part criticality insights and potential system impact, guiding clients' purchasing decisions.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Instrument procurement specialist / Spare Parts Engineer

• Experience: Previous experience in spare parts management, engineering, or related aftermarket services.
• Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of project-based spare parts requirements and related documentation.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams and external clients.
• Organizational Abilities: Highly organized with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Problem Solving: Proactive approach in identifying and resolving issues in a time-sensitive environment.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with data management and share site platforms.

Additional Information

• Working Days & Hours: Sunday to Thursday (8:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.).
• Location: Office job (Benghazi - Libya) + Field / Site visits.
