Your Mission as a Digital Field Deployment Technician / ESP Technician

As a Digital Field Deployment Technician / ESP Technician, your mission will be to ensure the seamless deployment and operation of IoT gateways and ESP systems at well sites. Your expertise will be critical in bridging advanced technology with field operations, driving performance and reliability in active oil and gas operations.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Digital Field Deployment Technician / ESP Technician:

• IoT Gateway and Equipment Installation:
  • Mount IoT gateways and BGAN satellite antennas onto VSD skids.
  • Perform power and communication cable wiring and ensure proper cable management.
  • Confirm the IoT gateway’s communication with the VSD controller and Agora platform.
  • Properly aim and connect BGAN satellite antennas to the internet.
• Post-Installation Monitoring:
  • Follow up on well performance and resolve operational issues post-installation.
• Electrical and Safety Compliance:
  • Confirm zero voltage and ensure safe work practices at well sites (handling 220 VAC and 24 VDC).

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Digital Field Deployment Technician / ESP Technician:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience with surface equipment and electrical systems.
  • Skilled in wiring, cable management, and voltage confirmation.
  • Strong experience with VSDs.
• Communication and Networking Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Modbus (serial and TCP communication) and wiring protocols.
  • Ability to prepare Ethernet RJ45 connectors.
• Preferred Experience:
  • Previous or current experience as an ESP technician or specialist.
  • Background in electrical, instrumentation, automation, or communication is preferred.
• General Skills:
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting abilities.

• Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6X3).
