Your Mission as a Field Base Manager

As a Field Base Manager, you will spearhead all operational, logistical, and personnel activities at the service base, ensuring seamless and efficient execution of projects. Your mission will be to drive operational excellence, maintain the highest safety standards, and foster a positive work environment while ensuring the base supports the company’s strategic objectives.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as Field Base Manager

Operational Management:

• Oversee daily base operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and facility upkeep.
• Ensure the readiness and availability of tools, equipment, and machinery for field operations.
• Monitor workflows to meet project timelines and client expectations.
• Implement and improve operational best practices and procedures.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Compliance:

• Develop and enforce HSE policies, promoting a culture of safety.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international regulations.

Team Management:

• Supervise, train, and develop a multidisciplinary team, including administrative and technical staff.
• Assign tasks, communicate expectations, and manage performance.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.

Client and Stakeholder Relations:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and timely responses to their needs.
• Coordinate with senior management and align base operations with corporate objectives.

Logistics and Resource Management:

• Plan and manage the movement of equipment, supplies, and personnel.
• Oversee inventory levels to ensure materials are available for projects.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as Field Base Manager

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
• Experience: Extensive overall experience, with a good experience in management roles.
  • Previous experience in roles such as Field operation manager, Location Manager, or Base Manager within service companies.
• Skills:
  • Managerial expertise in remote (Field) locations.
  • Strong safety behavior and commitment to HSE standards.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of local logistics, especially within service companies.
• Certifications: Proven leadership and operational certifications relevant to safety and logistics are a plus.
