Your Mission as a Country Finance Manager
As the Country Finance Manager, you will oversee financial management across a country or group of countries, ensuring fiscal responsibility, regulatory compliance, and the integrity of financial data. You will play a pivotal role in strategic decision-making, guiding operations in alignment with local and corporate financial frameworks.
You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Country Finance Manager
- Manage all financial operations including treasury, tax, billing, collection, and payables.
- Ensure accurate and compliant financial transaction recording per internal and local regulations.
- Oversee the balance sheet integrity and manage Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Train and coach line managers in financial principles and performance drivers.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of finance personnel within the region.
- Collaborate with Operations to maintain legal and regulatory compliance.
- Review and approve major capital expenditures and lease commitments.
- Ensure adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and contribute to internal control development.
Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Country Finance Manager
- Proven experience in financial leadership, ideally in the oil and gas or energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive compliance initiatives.
- Expertise in cash flow management, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and financial analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Working Hours: 9 to 5, Saturday to Thursday.
- Location: Tripoli, Libya.
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
