Your Mission as an Operation Superintendent

As a Production Superintendent, your mission is to lead and manage daily oil and gas field operations while ensuring production efficiency, equipment integrity, and strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. You will serve as the primary liaison between the field and senior management, providing strategic insight, technical oversight, and leadership to ensure uninterrupted and optimized production.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Operation Superintendent

• Oversee day-to-day oil and gas site operations, including extraction processes, well performance, and facility utility systems.

• Enforce safety and environmental compliance in line with OSHA, EPA, and internal HSE standards.

• Monitor production data (e.g., API gravity, BS&W) to identify optimization opportunities and mitigate losses.

• Manage operational budgets and ensure effective use of resources and equipment.

• Coordinate with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and maintain the functionality of safety-critical systems.

• Lead, train, and supervise production personnel, ensuring a high-performing and safety-conscious team.

• Prepare operational reports and act as the key liaison for regulatory agencies, contractors, and suppliers.

• Serve as the primary client contact, delivering project updates and responding to production inquiries.

• Present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on KPIs, performance metrics, and budget adherence.

• Proactively resolve operational issues, ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Operation Superintendent

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• 5-10 years of experience in oil and gas field operations, including supervisory or superintendent roles.

• Proven expertise in production optimization, safety compliance, and field staff management.

• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (OSHA, EPA) and HSE practices.

• Proficient in analyzing production metrics such as API gravity, BS&W, and uptime efficiency.

• Skilled in budgeting, operational planning, and vendor coordination.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is an asset.

• Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6x3)

• Location: South of Sirt - Libya
