Your Mission as a Field HSE Specialist

As a Field HSE Specialist, your primary mission is to champion the advancement and integration of quality and HSE standards within the operational framework. You'll be instrumental in supporting local management teams in embedding a culture that prioritizes health, safety, and environmental stewardship at the core of all activities. Your expertise will guide our continuous journey towards excellence in HSE practices, ensuring we not only meet but exceed regulatory and industry standards.

You will be handling these duties and responsibilities as a Field HSE Specialist

• Develop and foster awareness that quality and HSE compliance are key responsibilities of Line Management.
• Assist in the implementation and enhancement of the Quality and HSE Management Systems and in defining HSE objectives.
• Facilitate liaison with customers, subcontractors, and agencies concerning quality and HSE matters.
• Identify local risks and contribute to the creation and execution of local policies and plans.
• Establish controls for verifying the implementation of HSE policies and maintain pertinent records.
• Lead review meetings to evaluate the efficacy of the Quality and HSE Management Systems and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Oversee and participate in the screening and training of personnel, including subcontractors, ensuring high levels of HSE awareness and compliance.
• Stay updated on new developments, policies, and regulations related to quality and HSE, advising management accordingly.
• Guarantee easy access to HSE documentation on-site.
• Advise on adherence to local and national HSE regulations.
• Engage in quality and HSE audits, as well as the investigation of significant incidents and accidents.

Qualifications and Skills that will allow you to thrive as a Field HSE Specialist

• Proven experience in HSE practices and a strong background in Oil and Gas Industry 
• In-depth knowledge of quality and HSE Management Systems.
• Ability to effectively liaise with multiple stakeholders, including customers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop effective policies and plans.
• Excellent communication and training skills to foster a culture of safety and compliance.
• Commitment to staying informed on the latest HSE regulations and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough audits and investigations.
