Your Mission as a Well Superintendent:

As a Well Superintendent, your mission is to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of well operations across drilling, completion, and workover activities. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that each well is designed and delivered with technical integrity, operational efficiency, and adherence to the highest safety standards.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Well Superintendent:

• Develop and deliver comprehensive technical well designs, including Well Proposals, Basis of Design, and Well Programs.

• Provide ongoing technical and operational support throughout project execution.

• Prepare detailed well schedules, cost estimates, and project budgets, along with conducting well control briefings and creating End of Well Reports.

• Collaborate across Product Lines (PLs) to support optimized and integrated program design.

• Perform Assistant Well Site Leader duties as part of professional development.

• Offer real-time operational support, and assist in incident response and investigations.

• Participate in HARCs and risk assessments to uphold HSE compliance.

• Analyze discrepancies between execution and design to capture lessons learned and improve future operations.

• Evaluate service companies, suppliers, and equipment to ensure operational excellence.

• Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and third parties to align operational goals.

• Monitor and analyze daily operational performance, recommending optimizations through advanced technology.

• Conduct engineering studies to resolve recurring well issues and develop corrective strategies.

• Support critical wellsite operations as necessary to maintain project continuity.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Well Superintendent:

• 6–10 years of experience in well engineering and well operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related discipline.

• Proven expertise in drilling design, well construction, and operational execution.

• Strong knowledge of HSE practices, risk management protocols, and regulatory standards.

• Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented approach.

• Fluent in both English and Arabic.
