Your Mission as a Survey Technician

As a Survey Technician(Civil), your mission is to ensure precise land measurements and data collection that support the accurate execution of Roads & Bridges construction projects. You will play a key role in transforming design blueprints into physical reality by using advanced surveying technologies and interpreting technical data to guide construction alignment, safety, and compliance.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Survey Technician

• Operate Total Station, Level, GPS systems, and other surveying instruments to collect land and construction data.
  
• Conduct field surveys for road and bridge projects, ensuring construction is aligned with approved design specifications.
  
• Utilize drones for aerial mapping and capture of high-resolution imagery of project sites.
  
• Interpret collected survey data, technical drawings, and construction plans to validate accuracy.
  
• Assist in preparing maps, charts, and reports based on survey findings.
  
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment to ensure ongoing precision and reliability.
  
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to relay critical site information.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Survey Technician

• Minimum age: 25 years.
• Educational background: Intermediate education plus a 3-year DAE in Civil or related field.
  
• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in land surveying for infrastructure projects.
  
• Proficiency in using Total Station, Level, GPS systems, and drones.
  
• Strong understanding of civil drawings, design layouts, and spatial measurements.
  
• Attention to detail with the ability to analyze and interpret technical data accurately.
  
• Basic conversational English is required for field communication and reporting.
