Your Mission a Mechanical Maintenance Assistance Technician

As a Mechanical Maintenance Assistant Technician, your mission is to support the smooth and efficient operation of heavy machinery and equipment used in construction projects. Working alongside senior engineers and technicians, you'll assist with inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure high equipment reliability, reduced downtime, and a safe working environment.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a Mechanical Maintenance Assistance Technician

• Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on heavy construction machinery and equipment.
  
• Support complex and intermediate repairs, including part installation and system upkeep.
  
• Help inspect equipment to identify issues before they escalate.
  
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment service history.
  
• Manage spare parts inventory, organize the parts storage area, and assist in ordering replacement components.
  
• Follow all safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment for yourself and the team.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Mechanical Maintenance Assistance Technician

• Minimum age: 25 years.
• Educational background: Matriculation with a 3-year DAE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance of heavy construction equipment.
  
• Basic understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and repair procedures.
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow technical instructions.
  
• Organized and attentive to detail, particularly in inventory and documentation.
  
• Basic conversational English required for workplace communication.

• Job Type: Full-time, on-site across various Roads & Bridges projects.
