Your Mission as an Asphalt Roller Operator
As an Asphalt Roller Operator, your mission is to ensure the precise compaction of asphalt and other materials to create smooth, durable surfaces for roads, highways, and other construction projects. You will operate heavy roller machinery, ensuring safety, proper compaction, and surface quality while maintaining the equipment to ensure optimal performance throughout the project.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Asphalt Roller Operator
Operate and control the roller machine to compact asphalt and other materials on roadways, highways, and construction sites.
Ensure even, smooth, and properly compacted surfaces by maintaining the correct compaction levels and widths.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on the roller machine to keep it in optimal working condition.
Adhere to safety regulations and ensure that work is performed efficiently and safely at all times.
Work closely with the site supervisor and construction team to ensure that project specifications and timelines are met.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Asphalt Roller Operator
Minimum age: 25 years.
Educational background: Matriculation and holding a Heavy Truck Driver’s license.
Minimum 5 years of experience in asphalt roller operation or related fields.
In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of roller machine operations and equipment maintenance.
Ability to drive and operate heavy machinery safely and effectively.
Knowledge of asphalt compaction and road surface preparation techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
A strong focus on safety protocols and procedures.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site across various Roads & Bridges projects.
