Your Mission a Blacksmith Assistant
As a Blacksmith Assistant, your role will be integral to supporting the blacksmithing process. You will assist with various tasks related to forging, shaping metal, welding, and maintaining tools and equipment. Your contribution will help ensure that the blacksmith’s workspace runs smoothly, that safety standards are met, and that projects are completed efficiently and with precision.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities a Blacksmith Assistant
Prepare tools, materials, and workspace for the blacksmithing process.
Assist with metal forging, welding, and shaping tasks under the blacksmith’s guidance.
Maintain the forge fire and operate supplementary machinery to support the blacksmithing process.
Help with the maintenance, cleaning, and organization of tools and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and assist in ensuring a safe working environment for the team.
Be proactive in learning the trade, gaining hands-on experience, and developing skills under a seasoned blacksmith.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a Blacksmith Assistant
Minimum age: 25 years.
Educational background: Matriculation with a 3-year DAE in a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in blacksmithing or a related field.
Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and handle heavy objects.
Basic knowledge of metalworking tools, forging techniques, and welding processes.
A willingness to learn and develop skills in the trade.
Basic conversational English required for communication in the workplace.

Job Type: Full-time, on-site across various Roads & Bridges projects.
