Your Mission as an Asphalt Recycler Machine Operator Assistant

As an Asphalt Recycler Machine Operator Assistant, your role is to support the efficient operation of recycling machinery used in the production of reusable asphalt. You’ll work closely with the lead operator, assisting in equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance while ensuring that the process runs smoothly and safely on site.

You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Asphalt Recycler Machine Operator Assistant

• Assist the lead operator during the setup, startup, and shutdown of the asphalt recycling unit.

• Support the recycling process by performing both manual and technical tasks involving reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP).

• Monitor gauges, controls, and mechanical functions to identify potential issues or abnormalities.

• Help troubleshoot equipment irregularities and communicate observations promptly to the main operator.

• Participate in daily maintenance routines, including lubricating parts, changing belts, and cleaning machine components.

• Ensure the work area remains clean, safe, and compliant with operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Asphalt Recycler Machine Operator Assistant

• Minimum age: 25 years.

• Middle school education completed.

• Possession of a valid Heavy Truck Driver license.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operating or assisting with heavy machinery, preferably in asphalt recycling or similar fields.

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and support technical operations.

• Proactive attitude toward equipment care and job site safety.

• Strong observational skills to detect machinery irregularities.

• Physical stamina and willingness to perform hands-on maintenance work.
