Your Mission as a DST Downhole Specialist:
Your mission is to ensure the optimal performance, maintenance, and operational readiness of Drill Stem Test (DST) downhole tools for onshore well testing operations. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment integrity, minimizing downtime, and supporting safe and efficient field execution.
You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as a DST Downhole Specialist:
Perform redressing, maintenance, and function testing of DST downhole tools.
Inspect, assemble, and disassemble DST tool strings according to company and OEM standards.
Diagnose tool failures and implement corrective maintenance actions.
Prepare tools for mobilization to onshore field locations.
Maintain accurate service reports, maintenance records, and inventory documentation.
Support field operations with troubleshooting and technical assistance when required.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards and operational procedures.
Monitor tool performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability.
Coordinate with operations and workshop teams to ensure timely equipment readiness.
Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as a DST Downhole Specialist:
Proven hands-on experience in Drill Stem Testing (DST) downhole tools.
Strong mechanical knowledge of DST components (packers, tester valves, circulating valves, etc.).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
Experience in onshore well testing operations preferred.
Solid understanding of oilfield safety regulations and best practices.
Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Additional Information:
Working Days & Hours: Rotation (6x3) or (4x4) .
Location: Field based, Libya.
